Super-Glide is not only the best artificial ice skating surface for both temporary and permanent skating rinks and facilities, but it is also specifically designed for quick and easy installation. Each Super-Glide panel is milled to perfection on computer controlled equipment for a perfect fit every time. Our large 96" x 54" panels create the smallest possible number of seams in the finished skating surface. We use a unique spline system to secure each seam, and our robust 1/4" thick splines ensure a reliably safe and smooth surface greatly reducing the possibility of injuries to skaters. Super-Glide is designed to be assembled easily even if you have limited construction knowledge.
Home Skating Rinks
The Super-Glide artificial ice skating surface is a great option for home use. Any flat space can become a home skating rink. A garage, a basement, a spare room, or even the back yard will work. The skating surface is sold as a kit with a minimum of four 96" x 54" panels.
Installation is quick and easy using the full installation instructions in the owner's manual that comes with each kit. Information on care and maintenance of the synthetic ice skating surface is also included in the owner's manual. Note that installation may require underlayment or other preparation not included in the basic Super-Glide kit.
Portable Skating Facilities
Super-Glide portable artificial ice skating rinks have proven to be the most profitable for business owners. Among our most popular and profitable kits are our 25-panel kit, which yields a 22.5' x 40' complete skating surface that can accommodate 18 skaters; and our 42-panel kit, which yields a giant 27' x 56' complete skating surface that can easily accommodate as many as 30 skaters at one time.
